GATHER 'ROUND AND SET A SPELL!

In the olden days back before there were cell phones, social media and instant messaging, there was this thing called a newspaper or newsletter, if you will. Being from the small town of Raymondville, if you did anything, anything at all it made the paper. Now that can be a good thing or a bad thing. It's a good thing I was a perfect angel back in the day *cough*. I remember making the newspaper when I was really young (under 10) every time I'd fly out of town to visit Aunt Pat and the sisters over summer break. Sure enough, there was my name in black and white for the big news of traveling. But I digress.

So ... to say that this idea of writing thoughts, memories, jokes ... sharing together as a family where we're able to pass on wisdom and tales to the youngins from the oldens is a pretty cool thing. In this day and age of technology we've lost the storytelling and wisdom sharing of yesteryear. I think this is a fine idea and way to not only keep in touch, but to record these memories, stories, achievements and chronicle our family's lives, day in and day out. I especially love that our kiddos' kiddos are excited about contributing!

I am super excited that we have the Roadrunner Express News and that Momz has taken the role of leader-of-the-boss and cracks the whip over here to keep us in shape. Thank you to Angie for being the meanie and hounding everyone (LOL) and for also keeping us all grammarly correct. Thank you to each of you ... Momz, Robin, Patti, Stormy, Aunt Pat, Sammi, Alec, Ava, Joaquin and Chrissy ... who have submitted content for the BIG first issue next month. And last but not least, thank you to Scot ... our patient technical support guru.

Happy reading!
