Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Read All About It!

The idea for this newsletter all began when I was telling Angie some of my childhood memories. She thought y'all would enjoy them, as well, and suggested that I start a family newsletter as a way to share them. Juli agreed that it was a great idea when Angie told her.

We haven't been able to get together as a family in a long time and the newsletter will give us a way to keep up with each other and stay in touch.

Why Roadrunner Express News, you might ask? Well, I'm glad you asked :) I've loved roadrunners for many years. I once lived on a street named Chaparral, which some people say is roadrunner in Spanish. I did have a roadrunner necklace but it was lost somewhere along the way. You may have noticed the big blue roadrunner that's mounted on a large stone by my sidewalk. It was a gift from my kids. Several roadrunners, adult and babies, live in our area and we see them running across the road from time to time. We haven't seen Wylie Coyote ... so far *beep beep*

I encourage everyone to contribute an article, a picture, a video or sound clip, drawing, joke, etc. to this newsletter. After all, it is “our” family news.
